European Journal of Evaluation and Research in Education
The European Journal of Evaluation and Research in Education was established to disseminate high-quality research in education, promote innovative studies, and advance analytical methodologies in various areas of educational evaluation, school policy, and teaching and learning processes. Representing a natural evolution of the Open Access series INVALSI per la Ricerca, which has been active for almost ten years and is recognised as an authoritative platform for scientific dissemination in the education sector, the journal is a valuable addition to the field.
The journal aims to facilitate dialogue between academia, schools and institutions, creating an environment for interdisciplinary exchange where researchers, teachers, school leaders and education professionals can share ideas, findings and perspectives. Through this dialogue, the journal seeks to foster the development of a scientific community capable of linking theoretical research to everyday practice and contributing to a more robust culture of evaluation and informed decision-making.
Organised into thematic sections covering various dimensions of education — including basic skills, the quality of education systems, teaching methodologies and the analysis of educational data — the journal welcomes qualitative and quantitative contributions united by methodological rigour and originality. Articles span psychological, sociological, pedagogical, economic, and statistical perspectives, fostering a genuinely interdisciplinary approach to studying educational and training processes. All contributions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartiality and scientific quality.
The journal does not charge authors any fees for submitting or publishing articles and guarantees completely free access for both authors and readers.
